“Elijah Stone” – b/w “Closer to the Man” – is a two-sided 7-inch vinyl single by the American rock group U.S. Apple Corps, released on SSS International Records in 1971 (??), a division of The Shelby Singleton Corp. (catalogue number SSS-851).
Both tracks were later included on the band’s full-length album Let the Music Take Your Mind released on Plantation Records in 1976, a division of The Shelby Singleton Corporation. The tracks were recorded at Singleton Sound Studios in Nashville, Tennessee; with Steve S. Singleton producing. Side A written by Ralph Murphy and James J. Woods with the track on the flip-side written by Dennis Bryant, Tommy Norris, and producer Steve S. Singleton.
