Description
The self-titled, sole album by the Canadian folk/pop combo The Carpenters Union was released on Today Recording in 1971 (??), manufactured in Canada by Canadian Sound Industries. (“Recorded by The Carpenters Union and friends with inspiration from The Carpenter.”) Featuring a mix of original songs by the band and two rarely heard covers by songwriter Chris Dedrick of The Free Design fame (“The Proper Ornaments” and “You Could Be Born Again”), as well as a cover of Kenny Rogers’ “Tell It All Brother”.
