Pick It Up

Description

Pick It Up is the third album – as well as the major label debut – by the Canadian alternative rock band Hokus Pick, released on Word Canada in 1992, distributed by Word Communications Limited. Re-issued in the US by VIA Records in 1995. The album was produced by Paul Milner and the band.

(The band did self-release two cassette-only albums in 1988 and 1989, entitled Hokus Pick Manouver and Hey Man! respectively. A compilation entitled The Independents, featuring songs from the band’s two independent releases, was released by Word Canada in 1993, containing the tracks that were not re-recorded for their 1992 album Pick It Up.)

In October 2007 Hokus Pick received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Canadian Gospel Music Association at the 29th Annual Covenant Awards in Calgary, Canada.
