Rock Block, sub-titled 14 Blazing Rock Classics plus Bonus Medley!, is a compilation album by the American rock band Petra, released on StarSong in 1995, distributed in the US by Chordant Distribution Group.

“What are you looking for the devil for, when you oughta be looking for the Lord?” In 1982, the world seemed to be on a back-masking witch hunt. Record burnings were not uncommon. But, as a wise man once said, “It is much easier to curse the darkness than it is to shine the light.” So PETRA recorded this probing question backwards between two songs on their landmark MORE POWER TO YA album. We thought it would be appropriate to open ROCK BLOCK with it, along with its “interpretation” for any who are still disturbed by this touch of “backmasking.” What follows are choruses of some of the greatest PETRA rock songs ever, once again joined together in medley format by the technical wizardry of producer Brian Tankersley. Along with ROCK BLOCK are 14 of PETRA’s best-loved rock classics. Enjoy the flight!
