Description
The Music of Christmas is the seventh album by the American singer and songwriter Steven Curtis Chapman, released on Sparrow Records in September 1995, distributed in the US by Chordant Distribution Group. The album was tracked by Steve Bishir and Jeff Balding (tracks 2 and 10 only) at The Dugout in Nashville, Tennessee; with Brown Bannister and Steven Curtis Chapman producing. (Overdubs recorded by Bishir at various studios in Nashville, Los Angeles, and New York.) The Nashville String Machine was recorded by Steve Bishir at The Bennett House in Franklin, Tennessee; while The London Session Orchestra was recorded by Chris Dibble overseas at CTS Studio in London, England. Mixed by Bill Schnee assisted by John Hendrickson at Schnee Studio in North Hollywood, California.
