Description
A Gift is an album by the American folk group The Spirit Seekers (associated with St. Cecilia’s Parish in Leominster, Massachusetts), independently released on RPC in 1971. The album was recorded by Randall Bashta at Commonwealth Sound with musical arrangements by The Spirit Seekers. Featuring covers of songs by John Fischer (“Jesus My Lord“), Paul Quinlan (“How Can You Really Care”), and Peter Yarrow of the folk music trio Peter, Paul and Mary (“Weave”), among others.
Guitars provided by The Spirit Seekers (Sr. Julie, dhs; Sr. Patricia, dhs; Judy Garneau; and Barbara Garneau) with Randall Bashta on drums. Group member Barbara Garneau would later release a solo album entitled Only in God on the same label.
