Sounds of Summer, Volume II, sub-titled Contemporary, is a multi-artist promotional compilation featuring music by ten artists signed to Sparrow Records, released on Sparrow Records in 1986. It’s a 10th Anniversary Limited Edition Collection. “Share the gift of Contemporary music with a friend; pass this cassette along.”

Sparrow Records is releasing “Sounds of Summer, Volume I and II” this summer. Volume I will feature selections from the label’s more rock-oriented acts (REZ, Steve Taylor, Rick Cua, Sheila Walsh, and others).
