Description
Meadowlark Keyboard Sampler 1987 is a multi-artist sampler album featuring instrumental pieces only, released on Meadowlark Records in 1987, manufactured, marketed and distributed by Sparrow Records. The album was part of the Meadowlark Series, a series of contemplative instrumental albums launched by Sparrow Records in late 1985, sub-titled “Music without words for thoughts without limits” and later ammended to “Music for your personal retreat“.
The ten tracks on the sampler album were lifted from five albums, Heirborne by Richard Souther (the sampler also features an exclusive track recorded by Souther, “Appalachia”), Songs Unspoken and Second Story by Douglas Trowbridge (a.k.a. Richard Souther), and Born of Water and Why Should The Heart Not Dance? by Jeff Johnson.
