Description

Mighty is the tenth album by the American singer and songwriter Beckah Shae, independently released on her own Shae Shoc Records in July 2016.

Beckah is no stranger to Cross Rhythms radio with tracks such as «No More» and «Forgiveness». ‘Mighty’ is another tent peg in her familiar music ground of dance and R&B following detours into worship, Christmas and children’s releases. The opener here sets out the stall with an infectious R&B groove while «It’s Well» sounds like Megan Trainer, with a nod to classic rock’n’roll with sax and piano – if your feet are not tapping by the end of this track, you may need an ambulance! «Wolves» with its excellent double bass opening notes slows the pace somewhat, with its warning to be wise. These tracks will sit comfortably on modern radio but the difference is the uplifting message and encouragement. Production is handled by husband Jack as on previous albums and the result is an outstanding release you’ll be hearing on Cross Rhythms radio in the months ahead.
