Never Ending Now is a double disc album by the American singer and songwriter Chris Taylor of Love Coma fame, independently released on Lo-Fidelity Records in July 2016. The album was produced and recorded by Chris Taylor at The Creative Space in San Antonio, Texas.

One of the most prolific and creative artists around, San Antonio’s Chris is a visual artist as well as a musical maker. His independent status gives him the opportunity to release a wealth of material and this double CD set of 23 self-produced songs doesn’t disappoint! Frequently built around grooves that infiltrate your mind, there’s plenty here to love! Tracks like «Electricmind», «Medicine» and «Strange Phenomenon» also feature the fluid guitar of Mitchell Connell which adds to the vibe of the album. Taylor’s plaintive emotive voice across the two CDs is compelling and since I discovered his music back in the ’90s I have often thought there is something of the Jeff Buckleys about it. I do like the fact that the album demonstrates how he is willing to stretch out and try innovative ideas. «The Digital Age» is almost a rap and has some very cool sax! ‘Never Ending Now’ closes with the excellent «Let Yourself Move On» and songs like «Some Kind Of Love Song» and «Heartbreak Girl» has a World Party vibe about it. If you are searching from an artist liberated from record label pressure to create samey CCM fodder, Chris Taylor is worth searching online to discover this and many other releases.
