Description
Maranatha! Current is a multi-artist compilation released on Maranatha! Music in 1979. Came with a sticker saying: “A Special Collector’s Edition of 12 Great Contemporary Songs from all your favorite Maranatha Artists and Groups!“. The album was the 50th LP to be produced by the label. Featuring cover artwork by Rick Griffin.
During the time periode 1971 to 1980 Maranatha! Music released seven multi-artist compilation albums as a part of the label’s Maranatha! Series, The Everlastin’ Living Jesus Music Concert being the first. Maranatha! Seven, the final release of the Maranatha! Series, was released in 1980. Maranatha! Current was just another compilation, along with Hosanna, to be released by Maranatha! Music in 1979.
