Description
Sail On is an album by the American pop quartet The Imperials, released on DaySpring Records in 1977, manufactured and distributed by Word. The album was recorded and mixed at Gold Mine Studio in Brentwood, Tennessee; with Chris Christian producing for Home Sweet Home Productions. Arranged by Achie T. “Buggs” Jordan and Bergen White. Featuring a cover of the classic “Water Grave”, a song written by Steve Chapman and originally recorded by his band Dogwood on their album After The Flood, Before The Fire released on Lamb & Lion Records in 1975.
The Imperials lineup for this recording features Russ Taff (lead vocals), David Will (baritone vocals), Armond Morales (bass vocals), and Jim Murray (tenor vocals).
