Description
Clean Tape is a multi-artist compilation featuring selected tracks by various artists signed to the independent UK record company Chapel Lane Productions, released on Chapel Lane in 1983. All tracks recorded at Chapel Lane Studios in Hampton Bishop/Hereford, England.
“My Father’s House” was actually left off the Barratt Band album Voice, probably because it didn’t quite fit in with the polished sounds of the rest of that album. This BB King-esque blues number had long been a live favourite with fans. “Susanne” by Mark Williamson Band was included on Songs from the Earth, the US-version of their debut album Get the Drift?.
