Description
Spring is five-track contemporary worship CD-EP by the British singer and songwriter Jonathan Ogden of Rivers & Robots fame, self-released in May 2017.
Jonathan is the founding member of the Manchester-based worship band Rivers & Robots where he provides vocals, guitar and keys and is also a producer/collaborator on numerous other projects. ‘Spring’ is one of the four Seasons EPs he recorded/released last year. The opening track «With You» unexpectedly features the voice of renowned evangelical preacher Martyn Lloyd Jones reading Psalm 8 over a keyboard, creatively a long way from the almost predictable worship releases coming from many artists and groups around. «Waterfall» expresses ‘Your Love Is Like A Waterfall’ featuring an outstanding vocal addition from the always reliable Lucy Grimble while another guest, American Montell Fish, contributes a rap to «In The Ocean».
