Description
Ett annat sätt… is the third and final full-length album by the Swedish rock band Christallen, released on the Swedish gospel label Signatur in 1971. The album was engineered by Björn Almstedt, Bo Winberg, Gert Palmcrantz, and Rolf Plahn with band member Lennart Sjöholm producing. Arranged by Sjöholm (who was also a member of New Creation) except track A3 arranged by Gunnar Lindgren.
Christallen features Lennart Sjöholm on piano, organ, harpsichord (cembalo), and vocals, Gunnar Lindgren on bass, celesta, and vocals, and Anders Kjellberg on drums and percussion, as well as a brass section featuring Jan-Inge Gustafsson on tenor saxophone and vocals, Anders Friberg on tenor saxophone, trumpet, and vocals, Gunnar Ekström on trumpet, and Per-Åke Nogander on trumpet and flugelhorn. Guitar provided by session musician Bengt “Bengan” Karlsson.
Keyboardist Lennart Sjöholm would become a well-known producer and arranger, producing Swedish artists like Salt, Licence, Ingmar Johansson, and Roland Utbult, Swedish-American Evie, as well as Britain’s Sheila Walsh. Drummer Anders Kjellberg would go on to work as a professional musician and would later join the Swedish blues rock band Vatten, among others.
