The Servant King, sub-titled Live Worship – Spring Harvest 1984, is a British multi-artist live album released on DaySpring Records in 1984, a division of Word. The album was recorded live at Spring Harvest in April 1984 and was produced and engineered by Chris Head. It was one of the best selling Christian albums of 1984 in the UK. Followed up the next year with Lights To The World – Live Worship from Spring Harvest 1985
The British singer and songwriter Dave Pope made an appearance on the album and in fact most of the backing musicians at Spring Harvest that year were The Saltmine Band: Geoff Baker on keyboards, John Brett on synthesizer, Mark Simmons on acoustic guitar, Pete Brookes on electric guitar, Dave Butler on bass and Alan Sykes on drums. As well featuring a brass section.
