Mortification

Description

The self-titled debut album by the Australian extreme metal band Mortification was released on Intense Records in 1991, a division of Frontline Music Group releasing FMG’s industrial/metal output. The album was recorded by Gil Morales at Power Plant Studio in Melbourne, Australia; with Roger Martinez of Vengeance Rising producing. Mixed by Morales and Martinez. Mortification features Steve Rowe on bass and vocals, Michael Carlisle on guitar and Jayson Sherlock on drums.

Music videos were shot for “Turn,” “Until the End,” “The Destroyer Beholds,” and “The Majestic Infiltration of Order” by film maker Neil Johnson. These videos were released on the video compilation Grind Planets.
