Description

No Substitute is the fourth and final studio album by the Finnish blues rock band Q. Stone, released on the Swedish gospel label Viva Records in 1993. Also released in Finland on Columbia/Sony Music Entertainment (Finland) Oy. The album was recorded by Speedy Saarinen at Finnvox in Helsinki, Finland; with Jukka Hakoköngäs producing. Mixed by Saarinen and Hakoköngäs.

Q. Stone features Heikki Silvennoinen on guitar and vocals; Max Tabell on keyboards; and a rhythm section consisting of Mikko and Sakke Löytty on bass and drums, respectively; with Mongo Aaltonen providing percussion. Backing vocals by Douglas Pashley, Harri Rantanen, and Speedy Saarinen. Producer Jukka Hakoköngäs is featured on additional keyboards, accordion, and percussion.
