White Noise

White Noise is an album by the Australian rock band Avion – featuring singer, songwriter, and guitarist Randall Waller – released in Australia on EMI Records in 1986.

Most tracks on the album (tracks: A2 to A5, B2 to B5) were recorded by Richard Lush and Peter Blyton at EMI Studios 301 in Sydney, Australia; with Blyton, Peter Dawkins, and the band producing. Track A1 was recorded by Peter Cobbin at EMI Studios 301 with Randall Waller and Clive Shakespeare producing. Track B1 was produced and engineered by Ross Cockle at AAV (Armstrong Audio/Video) in Melbourne, Australia. Mixed at Albert Studios in Sydney by Blyton and the band (tracks: A2 to A5, B2 to B5); by Spencer Lee (track B1); and by Shakespeare, Bee, and Waller (track A1).

Avion features Randall Waller on lead vocals and guitar, Paul Gannell on guitar and backing vocals, Evan Murray on piano, synthesizer, and backing vocals, and a rhythm section consisting of bassist Kendall Waller and drummer John Waller, both as well providing backing vocals. Tracks B1 and B5 feature Sam McNally on synthesizer.
