Description
Twilight is the sophomore full-length album by the American singer and songwriter Shaun Groves, released on Rocketown Records in August 2003, manufactured and distributed in the US by Provident Music Distribution. The album was recorded by Jim Dineen at The Bennett House and The Hideout in Franklin, Tennessee and at David’s Song Studio; with Monroe Jones producing. Mixed by Jim Dineen and Shane D. Wilson (tracks: 1, 2, 7, 9) at The Hideout in Franklin and The Carport in Nashville, Tennessee. All songs written by Shaun Groves.
Shaun Groves is still building a UK following after his concerts here with Michael W Smith but on the American CCM circuit he has had at least seven radio singles and six Dove nominations – not bad for a guy with one album and an EP to his name! You only have to listen to this album to hear why. ‘Twilight’ has the ability to get your attention whatever you are doing, with its superb mix of acoustic rock, vulnerable lyrics and outstanding production by Monroe Jones (Third Day, Chris Rice and Ginny Owens), making this an exceptional album. Every track is a winner but favourites would be «Jesus», «Twilight» and «Need You More». Shaun Groves demonstrates again that he is one of America’s finest singer/songwriters.
