Thrifty Mr. Kickstar Radio Singles is a six-track CD-EP by the American pop/rock outfit Dryve, released on 5 Minute Walk Records. Also released for the general market through Warner Music Group. Featuring two tracks from the band’s up-coming full-length album Thrifty Mr. Kickstar – “Nervous” and the title track; radio edit and album versions. The EP also features two non-album tracks; “Airplane” and “Sorry About Everything” (both tracks taken from the band’s 1995 independent release, Hum). The Thrifty Mr. Kickstar album was recorded at The Green Room in Huntington Beach, California; with the band and Masaki Liu of Dime Store Prophets ‎fame producing. Mixed by Masaki at his One Way Studios in Concord, California.

The single “Nervous” charted nationally on college radio as well as CCM charts and AAA stations. Thrifty Mr. Kickstar also won the “Best Adult Alternative” album category in the 1997 San Diego music awards.
