Description
Dawn Treader One is a multi-artist compilation album featuring various artists signed to StarSong, released on StarSong Records in 1978. The LP is housed in a beautiful fantasy gatefold sleeve designed by George Werth (who also did covers for ArkAngel’s sole album Warrior, the Glass Harp compilation Song In The Air, Tom Autry’s Blood Of The Lamb, as well as Washes Whiter Than by Petra).
Trivia: The Dawn Treader is the ship of Caspian X, King of Narnia, who was the key character in Prince Caspian: The Return to Narnia, a fantasy novel for children written by C. S. Lewis. It is the second of seven novels in the The Chronicles of Narnia (1950–1956).
Sampler of Star Song-distributed artists including Jimmy Hotz, Arkangel, Jim Gill, Randy Adams, Pam Mark Hall, Tom Autry, and Fletch Wiley. Musically you’re better off getting the individual LPs, but the fantasy gatefold George Werth cover (Arkangel, Phil Keaggy & Glass Harp) makes this an attractive package.
