I Am a Christian, sub-titled And I Am Not Ashamed, is the sophomore album by the American singer and songwriter Scott Wesley Brown, released on NewPax Records in 1976, distributed by Word. The album was recorded by Warren Peterson at Sound Stage Studios in Nashville, Tennessee; and was produced by Gary S. Paxton and Bob MacKenzie with production assistance from Randy Matthews. Mixed by Peterson and Paxton at Sound Stage Studios. Strings and horns were recorded by the Pinebrook Strings and Horns at Pinebrook in Alexandria, Indiana; arranged and conducted by Buddy Skipper. Featuring a cover of “I Love You”, a song written by Randy Stonehill.
