I Never Knew Life Was in Full Technicolour…till I Saw It on a Silver Screen is the sophomore album by the British singer and songwriter Garth Hewitt, released on Myrrh Records in 1974, a division of Word. The album was recorded and mixed by Nick Sykes at R.G. Jones Studios in London, England; with Tony Hooper of The Strawbs fame producing. (Track B4 recorded and mixed at Nova Sound Studios in London.) Arranged by Fiachra Trench (who also provided keyboards). All songs written by Garth Hewitt except track B4 written by David Rees of The Mighty Flyers fame. The album track “I Will Return” features The Chris Barber Band as backing band.
