Description

Face to Face is the debut album by the American singer and songwriter Dennis Welch, independently released in 1981. The album was recorded by Paul Mills at Rivendell Studios in Pasadena, Texas; with Kemper Crabb of ArkAngel fame producing. Arranged by Paul Mills. All songs written by Dennis Welch except track B2 co-written with Tim McKenzie. (“An Apocalyptic Rock Production.”)

Dennis Welch is featured on lead vocals backed by a session band consisting of Jerry McPherson and James Auld on guitars, Darrel Holt on bass, Keith Edwards on drums, and Russel Dunlap on percussion. Producer Kemper Crabb is featured on steel guitar, banjo, harmonica, jews harp, and calymba as well as backing vocals together with his wife Becka. Also featuring Robert Herridge on fiddle.
