Description
God’s Not Finished with Me is the debut album by the American singer and songwriter Carman (Carmelo “Carman” Domenic Licciardello) (January 19, 1956 – February 16, 2021), released on Klesis Records in 1980, a division of Herald Records. The album was recorded at United Audio Corp. in Santa Ana, California; with Kit & Jimmy Lloyd producing. Arranged by Carman and Kit & Jimmy Lloyd. All songs written by Carman. Strings arranged and conducted by Michael Harrison.
Featuring Carman on vocals as well as 6- and 12-string acoustic guitars, backed by a session band consisting of John Wickham of The Way fame on 12-string acoustic guitar and electric guitar; Kerry Chester on keyboards; Steve Carter on bass; and Dave Spurr of Tamarack fame on drums and percussion. Also featuring Kit & Jimmy Lloyd on percussion; Kit Lloyd on blues harp; Don French on accordion; Don Gerber on banjo; Malcolm Wild on autoharp; Marck McKay on marimba; Frank Tretter on clarinet; and Wayne Eames on dobro.
