Description

Det er lys is an album by the Norwegian youth choir (“Ten Sing Choir”) FUKO (a.k.a. Filadelfia Ungdomskor), released on the Norwegian gospel label Klango in 1980. The album was recorded by Björn Almstedt at Europa Film and by Bo-Göran Lundberg at Supreme Studio in Stockholm, Sweden; with conductor Egil Fossum producing, co-produced by Christer Palm. Arranged by Egil Fossum and Christer Palm (tracks B2 and B3).

Featuring a session band consisting of Swedish studio musicians: Kjell Öhman on acoustic and electric piano, organ, and clavinet; Christer Palm on acoustic piano (tracks B1 to B4) and electric piano (track B1); Hasse Rosén on guitar; Sam Bengtsson on bass; Ola Brunkert on drums (with Douglas Westlund sitting in on tracks B1 and B3); and Ulf Andersson providing saxophone. Strings provided by members of Sveriges Radios Symfoniorkester.
