Aleithia

Description

The self-titled, sole album by the American folk-pop group Aleithia was released on Airborn Records in 1975, a custom label co-founded by Ed Kilbourne and Ron Moore. The album was recorded by Cecil Jones at Lemco Sound Studio in Lexington, Kentucky. Featuring a mix of self-written songs and covers like “Brand New Song” (Chuck Girard/Love Song), “First Person” (Ron Moore), “The Outlaw” (Larry Norman), “Front Seat, Back Seat” (Tom Coomes/Love Song), “Friends” (Elton John), and “Farewell Andromeda” (John Denver).

Aleithia features Debbi Oldham on tambourine and vocals, Terri Woodward on acoustic piano, electric piano (Fender Rhodes), String Machine, and vocals, Don Morgan on 12-string acoustic guitar and vocals, Steve Walker on 6- and 12-string acoustic guitars, banjo, and vocals, Steve Wyatt on 6-string acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and vocals, Matt Simpson on bass and vocals, and Randy Muck on drums and vocals.
