Description
Sedona is an album by the American folk group Parousia, released on Daystar Records in 1975, distributed by International Record Distributing Assoc. The album was recorded and mixed by Steve Mitchell at A&M Studios in Hollywood, California; with Curt Abbott, Jim Dunlap, and Mitchell producing for Daystar Records. All songs written by band member Robert Lloyd except track A4 written by Bill Aram, track B1 written by Don Ury, and track B3 co-written by Lloyd and Naomi Shihab.
Parousia features Barbara Lloyd on lead vocals, Tony Heim on lead and background vocals, Dina and Docie Galindo on background vocals, Don Ury on acoustic guitar and vocals, Bob Lloyd on electric guitar and vocals, Carey Casey on bass and vocals, and Mark Romano on acoustic guitar, mandolin, and banjo. The album also features session musicians Bob Yauney on pedal steel guitar, Smitty Price on keyboards, James Newton on flute, and Alfred E. Newman on drums. Strings by Bill Alpert, Ken Meeks, Joy Katyama, Juanita Lapp, Chris Larson, James Fahringer, Debbie Wood, and Doris.
