Green Pastures Are Before Me is an album by the American singer and songwriter Larry Groce, released on Peaceable Records in 1979. The album was recorded by Walt Wilder at Wilder Brothers Recording in Los Angeles, California; with C. Randolph Nauert producing. Mixed by Michael Lietz at Salty Dog Studio in Van Nuys, California. (“The Lord’s Prayer” re-mixed by Ed Anderson at Shangri-La Studio in Malibu, California.) String and horn arrangements by Emory Gordy Jr.

Featuring Larry Groce on guitar and lead vocals, backed by Garth Hudson of The Band fame on piano, parlor organ, accordian, and Yamaha CS80 Polyphonic Synthesizer; and Emory Gordy Jr. on guitars, mandolin, and bass (with Berke McKelvey sitting in on bass on track B4). Backing vocals provided by Garth and Maud Hudson, Cheryl Rasco, Laura Kidson, Ann Robertson, Berke McKelvey, as well as Larry Groce.
