Come Walk With Me is the debut album by the American singer and songwriter Debby Kerner, (later part of the husband-and-wife duo Ernie Rettino & Debby Kerner), released on Maranatha! Music in 1972.

The album track “Behold I Stand at the Door & Knock” had earlier appeared on the multi-artist compilation album The Everlastin’ Living Jesus Concert (HS-777/1) and was as well later included on Best of Maranatha, Volume 1 (MM0053A). Another track, “The Peace that Passes Understanding,” appeared on Maranatha! 2 (HS-777/3), another compilation released the same year as Come Walk With Me.

Before wandering off into adult contemporary territory and Psalty kid things with friend and eventual hubby Ernie Rettino, Debby Kerner gave us this enjoyable platter of simple folk music. Not quite as stark as say Linda Rich, but enough hands-off approach in the production to save from becoming sweetened mush. A good deal of the LP is simply Debby and guitar which suits me just fine. Other songs may expand the sound to include drums and electric bass. Joyful upbeat songs («Come Walk With Me In The Spirit»), sensitive acoustic ballads («Behold, I Stand At The Door And Knock»), strumming minor-key folk («Are You Ready»), warm finger-picked expressions («Blessed Be The Day»), stirring singer/songwriter moods («The Peace That Passes Understanding»). String orchestration on a couple songs, including the 5:48 Revelation-themed «The Horsemen». One children’s sing-along, plus a couple piano-backed songs. Debby’s voice often recalls Joan Baez and is well suited for her compositions. [Ken Scott, The Archivist, 4th edition]
