Barbara Sings for Life is the sophomore and final album by the American folk singer and songwriter Barbara Sipple, independently released on Lazarus Productions in 1973. The album was recorded and mixed by Tony Papa at MSI Studios in Camden, New Jersey; with Frank Griffin and Barbara Sipple producing for Lazarus Productions. All songs written or co-written by Barbara Sipple except “Joy In My Heart” written by Richard Fariña and the Scott/Russell-classic “He Ain’t Heavy”.

Featuring Barbara Sipple on vocals, guitar, dulcimer, and bells; Larry Gregorio on guitar; Walt Lenel on cello; Todd Dellecker on bass; and Tony Papa on drums and conga. Lollipop Express Chorus: Jim, Allison, Mary and Patrick Griffin, Cindy Paton, Bruce, Erick, Carolynn Thompson.

This collection of songs is a joyful celebration of everyman’s most precious possession, life itself. The offering is made as an expression of personal gratitude to my friends of the National Youth Pro-Life Coalition who have helped put my values into perspective through their love.
