Description

Caught in an Unguarded Moment is a digital single by the American alternative rock band Dead Artist Syndrome (a.k.a. Brian Healy), independently released in October 2019. It was originally featured on the indie sampler The Co​-​Op Communique Volume Four, released June 1, 2018. The track was recorded by Derri Daugherty at Neverland Studios in Nashville, Tennessee; and by Brian Healy at DAS Shrapnel Records in Hollywood, California. Mixed by Daugherty and mastered by Jeff Elbel at The Happy Club in Wheaton, Illinois.

Featuring Brian Healy on lead vocals (as well providing Audio Synthesis Programming), with The Choir members Derri Daugherty on guitars, bass, and vocals, and Steve Hindalong on drums and vocals. Piano provided by Stephen Leiweke.

The originally version of “Caught in an Unguarded Moment” was recorded by The 77s and featured on their 1984-album, All Fall Down, released on A&M/Exit in 1984. The song was co-written by 77s members Mark Proctor, Jan Eric Volz, and Michael Roe.
