The Right Place is a 7-inch vinyl single by the American singer and songwriter Mark Heard, released on Myrrh Records in 1984, a division of Word (catalogue number M-258-DJ). The track was taken from his full-length album Humanity Gangsters released on Myrrh Records the same year, recorded by Mark Heard, Chris Taylor, and Bill Cobb at Poiema Studios in Camarillo and at Whitefield Studios in Santa Ana, California; with Heard and Pat Terry producing.
