The track was taken from her full-length album Supply and Demand released on Reunion Records the previous year, recorded by Jeff Balding, Danny Hilley, and Penn Singleton at The Bennett House in Franklin, at Goldmine Studio in Brentwood, at Morningstar Recording Studio in Hendersonville, and at Hummingbird Studio in Nashville, Tennessee; with Keith Thomas producing. The track was co-written by Pam Mark Hall and Rich Mullins. The flip-side of the single features an interview with Pam Mark Hall.
