I Am Sure is a 7-inch vinyl single by the American singer, songwriter, and keyboardist Michael W. Smith, released on Reunion Records in 1984, distributed by Word (catalogue number 9016265597-DJ). The track was taken from his full-length album Michael W. Smith 2 released on Reunion Records the same year, recorded by Jack Joseph Puig at The Bennett House in Franklin, Tennessee; at Tree International Studio and Bullett Recording Studio in Nashville, Tennessee; and at Mama Jo’s Recording Studio in North Hollywood, California; with Michael W. Smith producing. Mixed by Puig. The song was co-written by Michael W. Smith and Mike Hudson.

The song was later covered by Deniece Williams on her 1988-album, As Good as it Gets.
