“The Mask of the Great Deceiver” – b/w “To Live for the King” – is a two-sided 45RPM 7-inch vinyl single by the American singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Kerry Livgren of Kansas fame, released on Kirshner Records in 1980, distributed by CBS Records (catalogue number ZS9 4290). Both tracks feature lead vocals by Ronnie James Dio of Rainbow and Black Sabbath fame. Both tracks taken from Kerry Livgren’s solo debut album Seeds of Change released the same year (with the single’s title track being a shorter edit than the original album version), recorded at Axis Studios in Atlanta, Georgia; with Kerry Livgren and Brad Aaron producing.
