WARNER ALLIANCE RELEASES PROJECT GEARED TOWARDS YOUTH

The B/W Project, a new release from Warner Alliance, combines many musical styles into a ministering tool for Christianity’s hip-hop generation. Under the guidance of executive producer Chris Christian, Eric Champion and his partner, newcomer Rodney “T” Thomas, have fashioned straight-ahead rap songs from a number of major Christian hits of the last 15 years. Superimposing a rap structure on hits by Amy Grant, Rich Mullins and others makes for alternatively joyous and poignant music that delivers a danceable beat that is coupled with a strong message made for open windows and summertimes. THE B/W PROJECT: the b/w project (Warner Alliance)

the bjw project is a hip-hop groovin’ pop project of the highest quality. It culminates from the keyboard and sequencing genius of Collyer Spreen and Eric Champion with the raps of Rodney T. Thomas. A lot of echoes on this project, as the duo reinterprets tunes by, among others, Amy Grant, Rich Mullins, Michael W. Smith, Gary Chapman, Brown Bannister, Chris Christian, Andrae Crouch, and Larry Norman, who penned the most outstanding tune called «Why Should The Devil Have All The Good Music».
