Maranatha Praise: Pure Joy is a praise & worship album by the American vocal combo Maranatha! Vocal Band, released on Maranatha! Music in 1995, manufactured and distributed by Word. The album was recorded by John Hendrickson at Bill Schnee Studios in North Hollywood, California; with Chris Falson producing, assisted by Bill Batstone and Bill Schnee. Mixed by Bill Schnee.
Lead vocals provided by Steve Apirana (track 1), Chris Falson (track 3, 7), Eve Sellis (track 4), Jean-Luc Lajoie (track 5), Mattie Battista (track 8), Bill Batstone (track 9), and Tommy Walker (track 10), with background vocals provided by Charity McCrary, Linda McCrary, Chariya Dacara, Maxi Anderson, Rick Nelson, and Kristle Edwards. The session band features John Nau on acoustic piano, Fender Rhodes electric piano, and Hammond B3 organ; Bill Batstone on acoustic guitar; Chris Falson on electric guitar; Glen Holmen on bass; David Raven on drums; and Brad Kaiser on percussion.
