Description
All My Best to You is a compilation album by the American contemporary gospel singer Tramaine Hawkins, released on Sparrow Records in 1994.
Always a pleasure to review a new Tramaine Hawkins release. This artist straddles the old and new worlds of black gospel, fully endorsing the blues, soul and jazz influences of the former, yet coping admirably with the latter’s contemporary demands. This compilation of tracks from previous albums certainly whips up the excitement with basically simple songs sung with exquisite flair and sharp-edged aggression. Goes without saying that the backing is superb. Soulful, urgent voice on top form; powerful stuff. [Tony May, Cross Rhythms, June 1994]
