Description
Making the Most of Today is an album by the American gospel group The Dannie Belles fronted by Danniebelle Hall, later of Andraé Crouch & The Disciples fame, independently released on Action Records in 1969 ??. The album was recorded by Fred Cohn, Jim Conklin, and George Woodley at Stanford University Frost Amphitheater in Palo Alto, California; and was produced by Paul Weaver with Fred Cohn co-producing. (Produced in cooperation with Spectrum Records, San Carlos, California.) Instrumental arrangements by Dale Lear with vocals arrangements by Danniebelle Hall.
The Dannie Belles features Danniebelle Hall, Jimmye Jackson, Phyllis Swisher, and Paula Clarin. The vocal group is backed by Danniebelle Hall on piano, as well as a session band consisting of Karl Jensen on guitar, Dale Lear on bass and organ, Greg Bottini on drums, with Phil Cotton providing congas. Also featuring Claudine Schwarz and Julie Smith on violin and Bill Theurer on trumpet.
