Description

Portrait is a compilation album by the British singer Sheila Walsh, released on Sparrow Records in 1987, distributed in the UK by Word UK. Re-issued on CD by Sparrow the following year, re-titled Compact Favorites and featuring new cover artwork.

“Burn On” originally was the B-side of the single “Here With Me” released on Chapel Lane in 1980 to promote the up-coming release of Sheila Walsh’s debut album Future Eyes, an LP issued the following year. “Burn On” was later included on Sparrow Records’ US release of Future Eyes. (“Burn On” was later re-recorded and included on Sheila Walsh’s pop/ballad-only album No One Loves Me Like You, released in 1982.)
