Petraphonics

Description

Petraphonics, sub-titled Petra’s Great Radio Hits, is a compilation album by the American rock band Petra, released on StarSong Records in 1992. Mastered by Hank Williams at MasterMix in Nashville, Tennessee.

Once upon a time, there emerged on the scene a Christian rock band that seemed larger than life. One of many things that helped create that legend was an apparently endless stream of hit songs… both great rock songs and mellower adult contemporary songs. For years, people asked if those softer radio songs could be obtained and listened to on one album.

Petra is that band. And ‘Petraphonics’ is that album. And there’s a bonus… through the expert skills of producer/engineer Brian Tankersley and sophisticated technology, the choruses of seven of the songs have been lifted from their original masters and wedded together with powerful orchestration to create the bonus maxi-single… «Radio Daze». Enjoy!
