Living Proof is the seventh studio album by the American vocal quartet NewSong, released on DaySpring Records in 1991, a division of Word. The album was produced and recorded by Dan Garcia.
Not Kingsway’s long running praise and worship compilations (that’s New Songs) but a contemporary pop gospel vocal group similar in general direction to the Imperials. With a nice line in gravel-voiced leads, and full clear harmonies and with slick production by Dan Garcia this is above-average pop gospel. Good hooks, lyrics that neatly step over the obvious Christian exhortations and some wonderful woodwind licks (though the latter could be courtesy of Michael Omartian‘s sampler), this is definitely a grower.
