Orbit is the sophomore album by the American singer and songwriter Jill Parr, released on Christian Records in 2003, manufactured and distributed by Warner Butterfly International Distribution. The album was produced and recorded by Brian Hardin at The Box in Nashville and at Sound Kitchen, Downtown Batterie Studios, and Wildwood Recording in Brentwood, Tennessee. Mixed by Hardin at The Box.

Whooeee! Listen I am no easy touch as a reviewer, but from the first scratcy FX on Lady Jill’s intro «Orbit» I was sold. I put this album in my car CD player and the eject button seemed to go into malfunction, the 10 tracks followed each other as effortlessly as one wave follows another up the sandy beach. You want powerhouse vocals? Try «Long Way Home». Like a bit of sensitivity then hey, there’s «Bleed». This is a lady with gutsy attitude and a vocal range to back her up but are “we ever going to solve this mystery” that it’s highly unlikely that any of these tracks will get a sniff of the UK charts? Listen to Jill’s cover of «If I Ever Lose My Faith In You», the sound of the underground with «Another Revolution».
