Description

CAIM is an album by the American singer, songwriter, keyboardist, and producer Jeff Johnson with classical soprano Janet Marie Chvatal, independently released on Johnson’s label Ark Records in December 2021. (CAIM – pronounced “KY-em” – is a circle prayer; from the Gaelic word meaning protection or sanctuary.) The album was produced, recorded, and mixed by Jeff Johnson at The Ark in Camano Island, Washington. Additional recording at Bakeman Studio, Sunset Studios, and Dylan’s Place in Portland, Oregon; and at Jacordi Studio in County Kildare, Ireland. String arrangements by Wendy Goodwin. Music and lyrics by Jeff Johnson except “In My Father’s House” and “Sanctus” by Erik Ronning.

Featuring Jeff Johnson on keyboards, vocals, and percussion, Janet Marie Chvatal on vocals, Wendy Goodwin on violin, Brian Dunning on flute, Dylan Rieck on cello, Timothy Meaney on guitar, and Phil Baker on bass.
