Description
It’s All About Love is the sophomore album by the American dance/pop artist Gina (Gina Foglio), released on N*Soul Records in 1997, distributed by Diamante Music Group. Also released in Europe marketed and distributed by Alliance Music. The album was produced by Bobby Ross Avila except track 11 co-produced with Jaymes Felix, tracks 1 and 10 produced by Felix, and track 6 co-produced by Keith Robertson and Aaron De La Cruz.
This album has been available since 1997 as a US import from N-Soul. Now, at long last, it’s available in Britain through Alliance. As this was reviewed back in CR41 I’ll be brief. Though this album marks Gina’s move from pure dance music of her previous album ‘Eternal’ into more pop/R&B territory it still has two or three good dance tracks on it. But really all I want to add is that my favourite track is «Love Will Wait» which gets everyone up and dancing to a song about abstaining from sex before marriage. Great lyrics and a great album that grew on me with each listen. It’s just a pity that the British release was so long coming. [Dancin’ Dave Derbyshire, Cross Rhythms, February 1999]
