Description
Ornament of the Universe is an instrumental live album by the American session musician, composer, and producer Fletch Wiley of Sonlight fame (the early ’70s backup band of Andrae Crouch, which morphed into Koinonia in the beginning of the ’80s) & friends, released on CAM Productions in 2003. The album was recorded live at McClean Bible Church in Vienna, Virginia, by Greg Hartman for Big Mo Recorders with Fletch Wiley producing and arranging for Visual Music Group. Mixed by Luke Rohwer for Acacia Recording and Production. All songs written by Fletch Wiley except track 7 written by Abraham Laboriel, as well as John Newton’s gospel classics “Amazing Grace”.
Featuring Fletch Wiley on trumpet, fluegelhorn, flute, and keyboards; Loston Harris on keyboards; Frank Voltz on harp; Glen Gurnard on marimba, vibes, and percussion; Abraham Laboriel on bass; and Bill Maxwell on drums; with Alex Acuna and Leo Alvarez providing percussion.
