Description

Urban Beaches is the debut full-length album by the British indie rock band Cactus World News, released on MCA Records in 1986. The album was recorded by Mark Freegard at Wisseloord Studios in Hilversum, Holland; and by Thomas Stiehler at Windmill Lane Studios in Dublin, Irland; with Chris Kimsey producing for and on behalf of Wonderknob Ltd. All songs written by the band.

Cactus World News features Eoin McEvoy on guitar and lead vocals; Frank Kearns on guitar; Fergal MacAindris on bass; and Wayne Sheehy on drums and percussion.
