Description
Tales from the House of the Wholly Bobble is the debut album by the American alternative rock band bob., released on Fingerprint Records in 1995. The album was recorded 1994-95 at Double Edge Studios in Haverhill, Massachusetts. All songs written by the band except “Fire”, a song written by the late singer/songwriter Mark Heard and original featured on his 1990-album, Dry Bones Dance. The track was also included on the Mark Heard double disc tribute Orphans of God released on Fingerprint Records in 1996.
The band features Chris Janke on vocals, trumpet, and washboard; Tim Knepper on keyboards, trombone, and backing vocals; Bill Doyle on guitar; Jackie Andree on bass; and Jeff Stewart on drums, conga, alto sax, and backing vocals.
